It refers to compounds of formula I, where: L is O, S, NR or a bond; R1 is alkyl, alkenyl, carbocyclyl, among others; R2 and R3 are alkynyl, aryl, carbocyclyl, among others; R4 is H, alkyl, OH, halo, among others; R5 is H, alkyl, alkoxy, alkenyl, among others. Among the preferred compounds we have the following: 6-ethoxy-2-(2-methyl-2H-indazol-5-yl)-4- (4-(trifluoromethoxy)phenyl)pyrido[3,2- c]pyridazin-3( 2H)-one; 6-(2,2-difluoroethoxy)-4-(4- (difluoromethoxy)phenyl)-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)pyrido[3,2-c]pyridazin3(2H)-one; among others. These compounds are inhibitors of methionine adenosyltransferase isoform 2A (MAT2A) and are used in the treatment of various types of cancer, including some cancers in which the gene encoding methylthioadenosine phosphorylase (MTAP) is deleted. |
