abstract The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of a cryopreservation medium, in particular one that is supplemented with maca to preserve tissue in the form of testicular fragments or biopsies; which comprises the following steps: a) Prepare a modified Ham's F10 medium (Ham's F10) which in 500 ml contains 4.9 g of Ham's F10, 0.0375 g of penicillin, 0.0375 g of streptomycin, 0.1225 g of calcium lactate, 2.73 g of Hepes, 0.168 g of sodium bicarbonate, and it is made up to 500 ml with ultrapure water, the obtained medium has pH 7.4; b) Supplement Ham's F10 medium modified with 10% dimethylsulfoxide (1.41 M) + 10% Fetal Bovine Serum + 200 mM of a sugar from the trehalose or sucrose group + 20 mg / mL of atomized extract of Black Maca; and c) Filtering the sterilized medium.
