abstract | In a floating recovery circuit which includes the following stages: Crushing a predetermined quantity of ore in a crushing stage is crushed to a predetermined size while the ore is irrigated with water, including the water recovered from the process to thus form a portion of ground ore; transporting the portion of ground ore mixed with the water recovered from the process to a stage of recovery by floating; applying float recovery to the ground ore portion to thereby extract a recovered metal portion from a mixture of the water recovered from the process and the ground ore portion; returning at least a part of the water recovered from the process to the grinding stage; a method for increasing the recovery of the metal portion of the predetermined amount of ore; Said method comprises applying a magnetic field to the portion of ground ore in a magnetic conditioning stage while it is contained in the water recovered from the process after the crushing stage. |
