It refers to a method that comprises administering to a subject infected with Neisseria gonorrhoeae a compound of formula (I), in which: Z1 and Z2 are, independently, CH and N; R1a and R1b are H, halogen, cyano, among others; R2 is H or (C1-C4) alkyl; U is CO or CH2; R5 is an optionally substituted carboxylic or heterocyclic bicyclic ring system.
