The invention relates to a compound of formula (I), in which A1 and R1 to R5 have the meanings defined in the description and in the claims. Compound (I) has activity as an inhibitor of the cysteine protease cathepsin, in particular of the cysteine protease cathepsin S or L, which is why they are useful in the treatment of diabetes, atherosclerosis, abdominal aortic aneurism, among others. |
