REFERS TO A ZEOLITHIC ADSORBENT AGGREGATE BASED ON LSX ZEOLITE CRYSTALS WITH A NUMERICAL MEAN OF THE DIAMETER OF BETWEEN 0.1 µm AND 4 µm, A Si / Al ATOMIC RATIO EQUAL TO 1.00 ± 0.05, OF WHICH AT LEAST 90% OF INTERCHANGEABLE CATIONIC SITES ARE OCCUPIED EITHER BY BARIUM IONS OR BY BARIUM AND POTASSIUM IONS, WHERE THE MECHANICAL RESISTANCE MEASURED BY THE SMS1417-74 SERIES SHELL METHOD ADAPTED TO THOSE ADDED WITH A SIZE LESS THAN 1.6mm IS GREATER OR EQUAL THAN 2MPa. ALSO, IT REFERS TO A METHOD TO PREPARE SUCH SEOLYTIC ADSORBENTS IN THE FORM OF AGGREGATES, SUCH METHOD INCLUDES: A) AGGLOMERATING ZEOLITE LSX CRYSTALS, WITH AN AGGLOMERATION BINDER; B) TO ZEOLITHIZE SAID PORTION OF THE ZEOLYTIZABLE BINDER BY ACTION OF A BASIC ALKALINE SOLUTION; C) REPLACE WITH BARIO AT LEAST 90% OF THE INTERCHANGEABLE SITES OF THE PRODUCT OBTAINED IN STEP (B), FOLLOWED BY WASHING AND DRYING THE PRODUCT TREATED IN THIS WAY; D) OPTIONALLY, REPLACE WITH POTASSIUM NO MORE THAN 33% OF THE INTERCHANGEABLE SITES OF THE PRODUCT OBTAINED IN STEP (C), FOLLOWED BY WASHING AND DRYING THE PRODUCT TREATED IN THIS WAY; AND E) OPTIONALLY, ACTIVATE THE PRODUCT OBTAINED, UNDERSTANDING THAT THE EXCHANGE WITH OPTIONAL POTASSIUM, STEP (D), CAN BE CARRIED OUT BEFORE AND / OR AFTER THE EXCHANGE WITH BARIUM, STEP (C) |
