abstract IT REFERS TO A COMPOSITION THAT INCLUDES: a) A TESTOSTERONE ESTER SELECTED FROM A GROUP OF ESTERS CONSISTING OF LINEAR AND BRANCHED C9-C16 ALCANOATES AS DECANOATES, TETRADECANOATES, PENTADECANOATES, AMONG OTHERS; b) A VEHICLE THAT INCLUDES RICINO OIL IN A CONCENTRATION LESS THAN 50% BY VOLUME, PREFERABLY LESS THAN 40% BY VOLUME AND c) A SELECTED BENZYL BENZOATE COSOLVENT. THE RATIO BETWEEN RICHINO OIL AND A COSOLVENT VARY BETWEEN 1: 0.2 AND 1: 3. THE FORMULATION IS USEFUL TO TREAT PRIMARY HYPOGONADISM AND BY ADMINISTERING THE COMPOSITIONS ACCORDING TO A SCHEME, RELIABLE LEVELS OF TESTOSTERONE IN PHYSIOLOGICAL SERUM ARE OBTAINED WITHIN THE NORMAL RANGE FOR A PROLONGED PERIODE OF REPORMULATION AND TESTOSTERONE IS UTILIZED IN TESTOSTERONE.
