abstract WHERE THE RESINS INCLUDE: a) LINEAR OR BRANCHED POLYESTERS, FILM FORMERS SUCH AS POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE AND ITS COPOLYMERS, POLYETHYLENE NAPHTHALATE AND ITS COPOLYMERS, POLYBUTYLENE TEREPHTHALATE AND ITS POLYETHYLERIMERATE COPOLYMERATE AND ITS POLYETHYLERIMERATE COPOLYMERATE AND ITS COPOLYMETHYL TEREPHTHALATE; AND, b) FROM 50 ppm TO 2500 ppm OF OXYGEN ABSORBING PARTICLES THAT INCLUDE AT LEAST ONE OXYGEN ABSORBING ELEMENT SUCH AS Ca, Mg, Sc, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Ag , Zn, Sn, Al, Sb, Ge, Si, Pb, Cd and Rd. SUCH PARTICLES HAVE A PARTICLE SIZE DISTRIBUTION SUCH THAT PARTICLES WITH A SIZE LESS THAN 25 MICRONS DO NOT EXCEED A CONCENTRATION DEFINED BY THE FORMULA: ppm = 512.3 xd, WHERE ppm IS THE CONCENTRATION OF PARTICLES WITH A SIZE LESS THAN 25 MICRONS, IN PARTS PER MILLION BY WEIGHT, AND d IS THE APPARENT DENSITY OF SUCH PARTICLES IN g / cc. THE PARTICLES ARE SUBMITTED TO PRE-TREATMENT WITH ONE OR MORE REACTION INTENSIFYING AGENTS. IN ADDITION, IT REFERS TO CONTAINERS MADE FROM SUCH RESINS, WHERE THE HUNTER OPACITY VALUE OF THE ITEM IS 10% OR LESS.
