abstract The invention provides methods for predicting therapeutic responsiveness of a subject suffering from cognitive impairments or dysfunctions, psychotic and/or neurodegenerative disorders to treatment with (R)-3-(6-p-tolyl-pyridin-3-yloxy)-1-aza-bicyclo[2.2.2]octane, wherein responsiveness is predicted on the basis of the individual having at least one indicative SNP of the human cytochrome P450 1A2 (CYP1A2).
