598567 Disclosed herein is a non-aqueous liquid or solid formulation or a solid formulation comprising an antimicrobial amount of an anhydrous composition containing silver dihydrogen citrate (SDC) and citric acid, wherein said composition comprises no more than 50% by weight of said liquid or solid formulation. Additionally disclosed is a method of providing antimicrobial protection to a non-human surface or to a non-aqueous formulation which comprises applying to said surface or including in in said formulation an antimicrobially effective amount of the anhydrous composition without reconstitution of said composition in a solvent. |
