abstract A cerebral blood flow quantification device that comprises: - a nuclear medicine image acquisition unit for acquiring cephalic nuclear medicine images of a subject having been administered with a radiopharmaceutical; - a count calculation unit for calculating the number of counts obtained from unit areas showing the same site in the cerebral tissue in multiple cephalic nuclear medicine images that are continuously imaged between a first time point and a second time point; - a cerebral blood flow rate calculation unit for computing, for each of the unit areas of the cerebral tissue, the cerebral blood flow rate per unit area that makes the value of a function integrated from the first time to the second time equal to the number of counts calculated by the count calculation unit, the function including cerebral blood flow rate and time elapsed from the administration of the radiopharmaceutical as variables and expressing SPECT or PET counts corresponding to the concentration of the radiopharmaceutical in brain tissue; and - a cerebral blood flow map-forming unit for forming a map showing cerebral blood flow based on the cerebral blood flow rates in the individual unit areas. The cerebral blood flow can be quantified at a high accuracy even in a relatively early stage after the administration of the radioactive drug.
