abstract A pharmaceutical composition of the GLP-1 analog [Aib8.35]hGLP-1(7-36)NH2. The composition comprises a mixture of the analog with a salt and divalent metal. The molar ratio of the GLP-1 analog to the divalent metal ranges from 5.4:1 to 1.5:1, and the molar ratio of the GLP-1 analog to the salt ranges from 0.5:1 to 10: 1. The salt can be a salt of hydrochloric acid or acetic acid, and the metal can be zinc or copper. The molar ratios can be adjusted to modulate the solubility, the pH and release effect on the in vivo release profile of the GLP-1 analog.
