Methods for treating cardiovascular disease using a soluble CTLA4 molecule |
abstract |
Discloses the use of a soluble CTLA4 mutant molecule for use as a pharmaceutical for treating a cardiovascular disease, wherein the cardiovascular disease is selected from the group consisting of: atherosclerosis; coronary heart disease (CHO); restensosis; peripheral arterial disease; coronary bypass grafting surgery; carotid artery disease; arteritis; 15 myocarditis; unstable angina (VA); unstable refractory angina; stable angina (SA); chronic stable angina; acute coronary syndrome (ACS); myocardial infarction; acute myocardial infarction (AMI), including first or recurrent myocardial infarction, non-Q wave myocardial infarction, non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction and ST segment elevation myocardial infarction. The disclosed CTLA4 mutant molecule comprises an extracellular domain of a CTLA4 molecule, which binds a B7-1 or B7-2 antigen expressed on activated B cells. (62) Divided Out of 545314 |
