Further disclosed is an isolated Replikin peptide comprising the amino acid sequence KKX1X2X3YPTIKX4X5X6NNTNX7EDLLVX8WGIX9H (SEQ ID NO: 349), wherein X1 is N or G; X2 is N or S; X3 is A or T; X4 is R or K; X5 is S or T; X6 is any amino acid residue; X7 is any amino acid residue; X8 is isoleucine, glycine, alanine, valine, proline, phenylalanine, tryptophan, serine, threonine, tyrosine, cysteine, asparagine or glutamine; and X9 is H or Q.
