abstract |
A microfluidic device for analysing a fluid sample, comrprising at least one sample transmission channel 1, at least one multi-functional channel 3 and at least one reactor module 11 fluidly connecting the sample transmission channel 1 to the multi-functional channel 3. The reactor module 11 comprises at least one reaction chamber 15 having at least one inlet in fluid communication with the at least one sample transmission channel 1, and at least one fluid isolation chamber 23, the fluid isolation chamber 23 being in fluid communication with at least one outlet 18/20 of the at least one reaction chamber 15, wherein the fluid isolation chamber 23 isolates the fluid sample from the least one multi-functional channel 3. |
