abstract |
The present invention provides multiple-promoter expression cassettes for simultaneous delivery of RNAi, preferably to mammalian cells. The cassettes comprise at least three components which each comprise a promoter, terminator, and an RNAi-encoding sequence which are operably linked. At least one of the RNAi-encoding sequences consists of SEQ ID No. 22. Further disclosed are uses of the genetic construct in the manufacture of a medicament for inhibiting hepatitis C virus from binding to targets expressed in a cell, and modifying the hepatitis C virus nucleic acid targets in a cell. |
