Disclosed is a composition formulated for injectable delivery of at least one osteogenic protein, wherein said composition comprises an osteogenic protein and a calcium phosphate material selected from the group consisting of amorphous apatitic calcium phosphate and poorly crystalline apatitic calcium phosphate, and wherein said composition is in the form of a hardenable paste that hardens into a solid form at 37 degrees Celsius, wherein the osteogenic protein is selected from the group consisting of members of the bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) family. |
