Disclosed is a method for synthesizing derivatives of formula (I), in which R represents a linear or branched alkyl group (C1-C6), characterised in that a morpholinone is reacted either with allyl bromide or allyl triflate, in the presence of a base, to yield a compound which is hydrogenated in the presence of palladium-on-carbon or with iodopropane, which is subjected to the action of LiOH, then to the action of an esterification reagent, the product then being reacted with an oxidising agent to yield, after deprotection of the amino function, the compound of formula (I). The compounds of formula (I) are useful for synthesizing perindopril and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. |
