A method for identifying a compound capable to alter prolonged CRH exposure response in a non-human cell, the method comprising: a) contacting the cell with CRH in the presence and absence of the compound; b) determining the amount of at least one protein that modulates corticotrophin releasing hormone (CRH) signalling in the cell; and c) comparing the amount of the protein in the presence or absence of the compound; whereby the protein that modulates corticotrophin releasing hormone (CRH) signalling is being selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 , 22, 24, 33, 35, 37, 39 and 41. |
