22.5 kD Streptococcus uberis protein or immunogenic fragment thereof mixed an additional antigen that is pathogenic to cows in a vaccine to treat bovine mastitis |
abstract |
A nucleic acid sequence (SEQ ID No:1) that encodes a 22.5 kD Streptococcus uberis protein. Parts of the sequence also encode immunogenic fragments of the protein, DNA fragments, recombinant DNA molecules, live recombinant carriers and ex-vivo host cells. Also disclosed is the use of the sequence for vaccines and the manufacture of vaccines, for protein and antibodies for diagnostic or vaccination and for diagnostic kits against the Streptococcus uberis protein. |
