abstract A method of treating an intra-mammary infection in a lactating non-human animal and preventing re-infection is described. The method involves the internal administration of a composition containing penicillin, aloe vera and Centella asiatica to the mammary gland of the non-human animal. Preventing microbial infection and healing internal wounds in the mammary gland of a non-human animal is described to comprise the same method.
