abstract |
The use of an aqueous solution of proline with a 50% or higher purity is described to improve fruit or berry quality. The concentration ranges from 15 to 1,500 ppm in terms of the proline. A method of spraying the solution onto the leaf surfaces of a fruiting plant at the fruit or berry growing period is also disclosed. The fruiting plant is described to be a plant of Rosaceae or Vitaceae. |
