Described are human antibodies, or fragments thereof, to the gamma-carboxyglutamic acid (Gla) domain of factor IX and factor IXa, especially of human factor IX and human factor IXa. Described is isolated nucleic acid encoding these antibodies or fragments thereof. Described are methods for their preparation. Also described is a pharmaceutical composition comprising these antibodies or fragments thereof, and a method for treating a mammal by using this pharmaceutical composition in a therapeutically effective amount. |
