A polymorphic form of tachykinin receptor antagonist 2-(R)-(1-(R)-(3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)ethoxy)-3-(S)-(4-fluoro)phenyl-4-(3-(5-oxo-1H,4H-1,4H-1,2,4,-triazolo)methylmorpholine. The compound is characterized by an X-ray powder diffraction pattern with key reflections at approximately: 12.0, 15.3, 16.6, 17.0, 17.6, 19.4, 20.0, 21.9, 23.6, 23.8, and 24.8° (2 theta). The compounds find use as anti-depressant, anti-anxiety or anti-psychotic agents and are also useful in the treatment or prevention of diabetic neuropathy, peripheral neuropathy, AIDS related neuropathy, chemotherapy-induced neuropathy, and neuralgia. |
