abstract | Described is a herbicidal composition comprising N-phosphonomethylglycine and/or a salt thereof and an alkyldiamine tetraalkoxylate surfactant. The surfactant composition is useful in glyphosate compositions and consequently in a method for controlling or eradicating unwanted plants or vegetation. The preferred alkyldiamine tetraalkoxylate surfactant is illustrated by Fig (III) wherein A and B are different C2-C4 alkylene groups, R is H or Cl-C6 alkyl, and X and Y are integers from 0 to 150, provided X and Y are not both zero. Preferably, A is propylene and B is ethylene, or A is ethylene and B is propylene. |
