titleOfInvention | Gene expression comprising manipulation of a GAL4 DNA-binding domain to produce an A/T content of 45% or less |
abstract | The present invention relates to a nucleic acid sequence, expressible in a plant cell, encoding at least an effective portion of a GAL4 DNA binding domain, the sequence having a % A/T base content substantially reduced relative to the wild-type yeast sequence, characterised in that the % A/T base content is less than 45%. Further claimed is a construct comprising the above sequence, and a method of expressing a gene of interest in a known pattern in a plant or part thereof. |
