A lubricant additive formulation is added at about 20% to 25% by volume to conventional motor oil to improve the lubricating properties of the engine oil and enhance the performance of the engine. The engine treatment oil additive comprises a synergistic blend of: 0.05% to 5.0% by weight of an oil soluble molybdenum additive; 10.0% to 95% by volume of polyalphaolefin; 10% to 95% by volume of ester such as a polyolester or diester; 0.01% to 10.0% by weight of a nonaqueous polytetrafluoroethylene; 0.5% to 35.0% by volume of a dispersant inhibitor containing zinc dithiophosphate; 5.0% to 95% by volume of a mineral oil base stock; 0.5 to 25% by weight of a viscosity index improver; and 0.01% to 10.0% by volume of borate ester. |
