The use of a nitrogen substituted acridine selected from formula 1, 2 and 3 for co-administration with an effective oxidase inhibiting amount of P450 1A inhibitor for inhibiting the enzymatic metabolism of the acridine. Such compositions are useful in the treatment of senile dementia as the acridine derivatives are inhibited from enzymatic metabolism. |
