titleOfInvention Process for preparation of precursor compound for radioactive halogen-labeled organic compound
abstract A process for the preparation of a labeled precursor useful for the preparation of a radiolabeled amino acid compound is provided. In the reaction step of introducing an outgoing group to a mixture of sight-form and anti-form of FACBC, a base is present in the reaction system to produce a sight-leaving group adduct that is not reactive with the base and is very stable and an anti-outgoing group adduct which can react with the base to form a water-soluble compound. By using a purified method utilizing such a difference in solubility, the visible-leaving group adduct can be selectively separated. The base may be a linear or branched primary to tertiary alkylamine having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound having 2 to 20 carbon atoms, and nitrogen-containing heteroaromatic compound having 2 to 20 carbon atoms.
