| abstract |
A dry preparation process for the preparation of a pharmaceutical formulation of benzimidazole and an alkaline substance is described. A tablet is compressed directly from a dry powder or dry particulate matter, avoiding any liquid or excipient commonly used as a wet binder. The manufacturing process has the advantage that it is simple and cost effective. At the same time it makes an expensive drying step superfluous. The resulting pharmaceutical formulation has good stability and a good dissolution profile. |
