abstract The present invention relates, inter alia, to novel piperazines, the use of these compounds for the preparation of pharmaceutical compositions, pharmaceutical compositions comprising the compounds, and treatment methods utilizing these compounds or compositions. The compounds show high and selective binding affinity for the histamine H3 receptor, suggesting antagonistic, inverse antagonistic or agonistic activity towards the histamine H3 receptor. As a result, the compounds are useful in the treatment of diseases or disorders associated with the histamine H3 receptor.
