titleOfInvention Clindamycin phosphate foam
abstract Various pharmaceutically active topical delivery compositions are described. In particular, the compositions described are present in a pressurized container comprising a fast-breaking, alcoholic foaming agent so as to form a fast-breaking, temperature-sensitive foam when the composition is released, that is, from the pressurized container. In addition, various aspects are provided in connection with such preparations including methods for modulating foam characteristics, methods for improving the shelf life of a pharmaceutically active compound, methods for percutaneous treatment of various diseases, infections and diseases, and methods for evaluating foam characteristics.
