The invention relates to a process for the preparation of carbonyl compounds of olefins and an oxidizing agent, in particular of acetaldehyde of ethylene and oxygen, in which the olefin is oxidized in a reactor, whereby, especially after water and aldehyde separation, a reaction mixture containing non-oxidized olefin, characterized by separating non-oxidized olefin at least partially from the reaction mixture by a membrane process from the other components, especially carbon dioxide. The recovered olefin may be reintroduced into the process. |
