titleOfInvention | COATING MATERIAL FOR MEDICINES. |
abstract | The invention relates to a coating material for medicinal products, consisting of a polymer or copolymer of alkyl and/or hydroxyalkyl(meth)acrylate, in which covalently bound azo compounds are incorporated which are preferably chosen from the group consisting of dimethacryloylaminoazobenzene (DMAAB), diacryloylaminoazobenzene (DAAB), divinylazobenzene, N,N'bis(methacryloyloxyalkyloxycarbonyl) diaminoazobenzene. The material is preferably a copolymer of hydroxyalkyl(meth)acrylate and alkyl(meth)acrylate in a ratio between 5:1 and 8:1, of which 0.5 to 1.6%, relative to the total quantity of copolymer, is taken up by a covalently bound azo compound. The coating material can if necessary include at least one softener which is chosen from the group consisting of polyethylene glycol, dialkylphthalate, triacetin and esters of citric acid. The invention also relates to a method for preparing the coating material and a medicinal product which is coated with the material according to the invention. |
