titleOfInvention | DEVICE FOR POSITIONING A PRINTING PLATE AND A COMPONENT. |
abstract | Apparatus for positioning a printing plate and a component relative to one another, which comprises means for supporting the printing plate, optical means including a transparent support plate for supporting the component and further including a partially reflecting layer which is located at a fixed position and parallel to the transparent support plate and is applied to a transparent carrier plate, means for moving the printing plate and the component relative to one another, means for installing the optical means in such a way that the transparent support plate and the partially reflecting layer are parallel to the printing plate and the distance between the printing plate and the partially reflecting layer is essentially equal to said fixed distance, and lens means which point towards the top of the partially reflecting layer at an angle of less than π/2 rad, for the purpose of simultaneously observing an image of the component and a partial image of the printing plate. The printing plate is preferably positioned near a component fixed in position. In using the positioning device in a soldering apparatus, the component fixed in position is moved towards and into contact with the positioned printing plate. To this end, the component position fixing means are provided with component aspiration means and heating means. |
