Prodn. of medicaments with a favourable effect on blood circulation is claimed, where the medicaments contain cpds. of formula (I) or their acid addn. salts. (where one of A and B is O, S, SO or SO2 and the other is O; Alk is a straight- or branched-chain 1-4C hydrocarbon gp.; R is C(=NH)NH2, C(=NH)NHOH or 2-imidazolin-2-yl). Also claimed is the prepn. of (I) in a manner known for analogous cpds. (I) inhibit blood platelet aggregation and lower blood lipid and cholesterol levels. Specified cpds. are 4-(4-chlorophenoxy) phenoxyacetamidoxine (Ia), 4-(4-chlorophenoxy) phenoxyacetamidine and 2-(4-(4-chlorophenoxy) -phenoxy)-2-imidazoline. |
