| abstract | The equipment allows a wheelchair to be transported by car etc, being particularly for a chair collapsible in the transverse direction and with small caster wheels at the front on vertical supports. A pair of bottom chassis bar ends extend rearwards between the pair of large rear wheels. It comprises a bracket mounted on the rear of the car, and on which the chair can be placed facing sideways and secured. The bracket comprises an oblong container (1) with an access door for the wheelchair (6) in a short side. It is supported on the car by a lifting mechanism (43), so that it can be let down onto the ground. |
