titleOfInvention MANURE.
abstract Fertiliser in the form of a dispersion of undissolved food materials in aq. solns. of food materials contains a hydrated magnesium-aluminium silicate and another dispersant comprising at least one the following substances; (a) sorbitol (b) polyvinyl alcohol, (c) caseinates, (d) soluble starch hydrolysates or (e) liginsulphonic acids or their salts and sodium polyphosphate. Fertilisers which are completely water soluble with the exception of a small residue of auxiliary substances used in the formulation. Their stability on storage, their ability to be resuspended (reduced rate of crystal growth) and their solubility are maintained for more than a year. They may be used as the suspended concentrate e.g. as foliage feeds containing glucose or diluted with water.
