| abstract | Both title cpds. can be obtained economically from a streptomyces longisporoflavus S-244 aerobi culture at 22-40 degrees C. The broth is filtered at pH2-4, adjusted to pH8, adsorbed onto a cationic (CO2H) resin in NH4+ form, and eluted fractionally with 0.5-1.5N NH4OH; opt. followed by a second fractionation with lower concns. of NH4OH. Further purification can be effected on a styrene/divinylbenzene anionic (OH-) resin of low porisity, eluting with H2O. |
