abstract The present disclosure provides a depth-calibrated stop bur for tooth preparation, guided by a 3D-printed guide, which solves the problems of the existing tooth preparation tools that are low-precision, complicated, error-prone, inconvenient and 5 impractical. The bur includes a bur grip, a bur shank and a bur head; a tail end of the bur grip is matched with a dental turbine, a side surface of the bur shank close to an end of the bur head is provided with a scale, the bur head is used as a working end for cutting a tooth tissue to prepare a fixed-depth hole, the bur head is provided with sharp-edge blades, the bur head is a truncated cone, which has a bottom end surface with a diameter 10 larger than that of the bur shank, vertical grooves corresponding to the sharp-edge blades are uniformly provided on a side surface of the truncated cone, the bur further includes a stop ring, the stop ring is sleeved on the bur shank, a diameter of the stop ring is larger than that of the bur shank and an aperture of the 3D-printed guide, the scale is provided on the side surface of the bur shank between the stop ring and the bur head; and the 15 diameter ofthe bur shank with the scale increases in a direction away from the bur head.
