abstract The present invention discloses an ultraviolet light-based device and method for post-harvest processing of fruit, where the device includes a box body, and a transparent rotary drum with a hollow wall surface is disposed in the box body, one end of the transparent rotary drum is movably connected with the box body, and is driven to rotate by a motor disposed outside the box body, a lid that can open and close is disposed on the other end of the transparent rotary drum, the box body is provided with a liquid inlet and a liquid outlet, and a bubbler and an ultraviolet light device are fixed on an inner wall of the box body, the bubbler is connected with an air pump through an air pump inlet disposed on the box body, the motor, the ultraviolet light device and the air pump are all electrically connected with a controller. The structure of the device of the present invention is reasonable, and the operation is simple, while avoiding mechanical damage, achieving a comprehensive and uniform ultraviolet light radiation processing for the fruit.
