abstract | Atomizer device and method for preparing the same, and a container therefor. An atomizer device comprises a container (20) having a liquid chamber (21) for receiving a liquid to be atomized and a spray head (50) capable and arranged to be placed under an elevated position. working pressure to form a mist from the liquid. The liquid chamber (21) is closed by a valve (22) which is normally accommodated therein and which is capable and adapted to expel at least a part of the liquid from the liquid chamber during an axial displacement. Provided between the valve (22) and the spray head (50) is an air bubble barrier (80) which is substantially impassable for any air bubbles in the liquid but which comprises a passage (85) to allow an at least substantially free passage of the liquid. In one method of preparing such a container, it is subjected to a centrifugation step to expel any entrapped air as much as possible upstream of the barrier device. |
