abstract A binocular device for visualizing visible and invisible radiation comprises a support 5 structure, a left camera, and a right camera coupled to the support structure. The left image sensor and the right image sensor are configured to create left and right video signals from detected optical radiation received from the corresponding left and right input optics. A camera is sensitive to both radiation in an invisible wavelength band of radiation and radiation in a visible light wavelength band of radiation. The input optics 10 of said camera is transmissive for the invisible wavelength band and reductive for the visible light wavelength band. A left display and a right display coupled to the support structure are to be viewed by a pair of eyes of a user through a left eyepiece operatively connected to the left display and a right eyepiece operatively connected to the right display. 15
