titleOfInvention | Thermal battery |
abstract | The present invention relates to a thermal battery for a cold-heat storage device. The present invention further relates to a method for manufacturing such a thermal battery for a cold heat storage device as well as the production of the cold heat medium in question. In a first aspect of the invention, a thermal battery is provided for a cold heat storage device which is adapted for use in a cooling container for cooling products present in the cooling container, the thermal battery comprising a compartment for comprising a heat-accumulating medium, which compartment is made from thermally insulated wall parts and delivering cold from the heat-accumulating medium to the cooling container via a thermal interface, the heat-accumulating medium being a cooling composition comprising a saline solution consisting of a composition of at least one water-soluble salt with a weight percentage between 10 and 55%, as well as water with a weight percentage between 45 and 90%, and an antibacterial additive comprising isothiazolinone compounds. |
