titleOfInvention A self-calibrated system for monitoring incontinence
abstract According to one aspect of the inventive concept there is provided a system for monitoring incontinence comprising: a system for monitoring incontinence comprising a urine-sensitive circuit arranged to present a changed electrical 5 characteristic when exposed to urine, a frequency-generating circuit arranged to perform a transmission signal by a frequency when the urine-sensitive circuit exposed to urine and an electrical circuit arranged to: drive the frequency-generating circuit when the urine-sensitive circuit exposed to urine. Wherein the urine-sensitive circuit inciudes a portion arranged to generate 10 power when exposed to urine to power a frequency transmission from the frequency-generating circuit, and wherein the electrical circuit is arranged to drive the frequency-generating circuit when the urine-sensitive circuit is exposed to urine. 15 A system for monitoring incontinence comprising: a system for monitoring incontinence comprising a urine-sensitive circuit arranged to present a changed electrical characteristic when exposed to urine, a frequency- generating circuit arranged to perform a calibrated frequency transmission when the urine-sensitive circuit is exposed to urine and an electrical circuit 20 arranged to calibrate the frequency-generating circuit to a specific frequency when the urine-sensitive circuit is exposed to urine, Wherein the electrical circuit inciudes a periodic signal arranged to power the frequency transmission from the frequency-generating circuit ON and OFF when the urine-sensitive circuit is exposed to urine, and/or wherein the 25 electrical circuit is arranged to automatically power-OFF the frequency- generating circuit at a pre-defined time period after the urine-sensitive circuit has been exposed to urine, and/or wherein the electrical circuit is arranged to amplify the specific frequency signal from the frequency-generating circuit when the urine-sensitive circuit is exposed to urine, and/or wherein the 30 electrical circuit is arranged to, when the urine sensitive circuit has been exposed to urine, switch the frequency-generating circuit ON for a period of time which is longer than the period the urine-sensitive circuit has been exposed to urine. 35 1043648
