abstract | The system comprises an open cultivation channel (12), a through-flow system for supplying and discharging water via a water conduit (8) associated with this channel, and a sea mineral nutrient composition for adding to the water. A cultivation system for growing greenhouse plants comprises at least one open cultivation channel which contains plants and includes a water conduit, a through-flow system for supplying and discharging water via this conduit, and a nutrient composition at least partially comprising sea minerals and added to the water continuously and/or periodically. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Nutrient composition used in this system; and (2) Method for cultivating plants using this system, comprising measuring the level of nutrients present in at least one cultivation channel, determining the desired level of nutrients and/or the desired nutrient addition times, and adding the determined amount of nutrients at the desired times. |
