Also claimed is a compsn. for the above purpose comprising 1-25 wt.% fragrance, 1-30 wt.% adhesive, 60-95% solvent and opt. a diluent. Pref. the adhesive is a polymer having polar gps., esp. ether, ester, urethane and/or amide gps. The solvent is water. The compsn. is applied by dipping, capillary action, spraying or injection.
