COMPOUNDS AND THEIR USES TO RELIEVE SYMPTOMS ASSOCIATED WITH MENOPAUSE |
abstract |
The present invention refers to a hormone replacement therapy, to the associated compounds and to the associated packaging units, to alleviate the symptoms associated with menopause, which is based on the administration to a female mammal of an estetrol component at a dose specified daily, optionally in combination with a progestogen component. The therapy enjoys statistically significant efficacy combined with a favorable side effect profile compared to currently available methods for alleviating symptoms associated with menopause. |
