titleOfInvention Absorbent article
abstract To provide an absorbent article (11) which can prevent a user from suffering skin irritation and suppress occurrence of bad odor after use. An absorbent article comprises: an absorber; and a fumaric acid carrying sheet which is arranged on a skin surface side of the absorber. The fumaric acid carrying sheet carries a fumaric acid particle (2) of which average particle diameter is 30 ?m or less, and/or at least one part of constituent fibers of the fumaric acid carrying sheet is covered with the fumaric acid. The fumaric acid does not dissolve at once but dissolve gradually when contacting with body fluid and the like, thereby preventing periphery of the fumaric acid from being alkaline for a long time. The fumaric acid includes an action of suppressing propagation of putrefaction bacteria, thereby preventing bad odor from occurring in the absorbent article in which the body fluid and the like is absorbed.
