abstract The present invention relates to organic activators having the following general formula (I): (see formula (I)) where R1 is a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or aryl entity comprising at least five carbons, R2 is an alkyl entity substituted or unsubstituted comprising less than five carbons, R3 in a suitable binding entity, R4 is a charged entity, N is nitrogen, each G is, independently, an oxygen-containing entity and Z, when present, is a counterion to balance the load: the present invention also relates to cleaning compositions that include organic activators, and processes for manufacturing and using organic activators and the aforementioned cleaning compositions.
